Direct answer
The features that decide a university ERP are student information at university scale, affiliation, examination administration, finance, and role-specific workspaces. Long module lists are easy to write and hard to staff.
How it works
Write user stories: “COE publishes a gazette”, “affiliation cell maps a programme”, “IQAC attaches evidence”. If a vendor cannot show those screens, the brochure is fiction.
Key considerations
- College ERP features (HOD, placement) are valid — they are not university-complete.
- School ERP pricing (for example ₹99/student) is a different market.
